Prof M Subhan Qureshi

Author’s Profile

Brief CV:

I have got my education in veterinary medicine with a doctoral degree in animal reproduction. I served the government of Pakistan from 1983 to 2019 as a public servant and Professor/Dean at the University of Agriculture Peshawar. I tried to integrate good governance in the public service and academia and established the Dairy Science Park (DSP) focusing on generation of decent employment and exporatable biotech and food surpluses across the livestock value chain. After retirement from the regular service, I continued voluntarily under the DSP,  providing relief to the emerging entrepreneurs and motivated the youth in entrepreneurship development as a Triple Helix Model of Good Governance. I got a chance to serve the FAO-UN and ITC-UN and suggested Livestock Technopark (LTP) at Peshawar and Quetta respectively, as National Consultant. I was selected as International Contact Person of the National Eco-Security System of the International Science Network, Beijing and I will attend the 2024 NESS Conference at Shennongjia, P.R. of China. For Pakistan, Eco-Security was split into environmental security, biological diversity, food security, public health and livelihood security. I believe in tolerance, coexistence and interdisciplinary research; hence, I have integrated 100+ institutions and 200+ individuals into NESS-Pakistan.
