Firdosi University Mashad Iran hosted Enterprenureship 2017, a unique event I have ever seen. The soft spoken Mayor of Mashad, Head of Khorasan Science and Technology Park and senior Academicians from Iran and abroad shared their wisdom openly with the participants.
Surprisingly the focus of the event were the young primary school kids and young growing graduates, trying to find a graceful place in the Society through Enterprenureship Development and not to bag for employment and financial support. They presented innovative ideas and got awards purely on merit, decided through collective wisdom of the participants, via online voting in the sweet Persian language.
The architect of the idea and Principal Organizer of the event and my brother, Dr Irfan Maqsood, sharing name with my son, Engr Irfan, was seen without any worries on his face, because he was harvesting the fruits of his hard work on young man and women, who played their assigned role in making the event a success.
