Dr Muhammad Azam Kakar, Vice President Dairy Science Park, has completed his tenure as Diector Livestock and Dairy Development, Government of Balochistan, Quetta, with wonderful performance, great admiration from his colleagues, peers, students, the farming community, academics and the national and international professional organisations 
Let me see him off as a professional colleague in Livestock and Dairy Development from Balochistan; but let me retain him as a fellow Theriogenologist, as Vice President Dairy Science Park, as a Key Person of National Eco-Security System Pakistan, as a Mentor of my junior colleagues and as my brother and part of my family 
I wish him a happy and healthy life full of blessings from Allah SWT and His Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Dr Kakar has been working as a Livestock Specialist at Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, Pakistan and Professor/Dean Life Sciences, Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta. He got his PhD degree in Reproductive Biotechnology from the University of Adelaide, AUSTRALIA, supervised by Prof. Simon Maddocks and Dr Simon Walker. He was part of the team who created the first Australian clone sheep “MATILDA” using somatic cells in March 2000 at Turretfield Research Centre, Rosedale, University of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus, South Australia. He has been working on gametes biology and embryo transfer technology at QAU Islamabad, LDD Quetta, Yamaguchi University, Japan, As a civil servant, he has been working as supervising EU funded; small enterprise development Project; Area Development Programme UNDP; Quetta; DEAN/Professor of Biotechnology and informatics, BUITEMS; DEAN/Professor of Theriogenology, LUAWMS; Director/ Specialist Livelihood, The World Bank, Balochistan; and Director Planning & Development Livestock & Dairy Dev Deptt. Quetta.
